Process Technology Technical Certificate

Under the Process Technology area of emphasis, students will gain an understanding of the operation and maintenance of chemical processing equipment with strong emphasis on industrial safety and equipment troubleshooting.  Core classes will provide students with necessary background in chemistry and algebraic mathematics as well as developing communication and computer skills necessary for a career in chemical processing.  Other topics also include basic electrical and mechanical fundamentals, blue print interpretation, and basic CAD design. Students gain practical, hands-on experience in course laboratories while gaining insight into safe and efficient work practices.
