Technical Diploma

The Car Mechatronics Program will be designed to produce high level, multi-skilled technicians who can diagnose and repair defects in the body, mechanical and electrical systems in Volkswagen automobiles. During the three-year training program, students will gain knowledge and hands-on training in basic metalworking, welding, automotive technology, automotive electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, protection systems and technical drawings.

Career Opportunities

Graduates will be qualified to diagnose and repair defects in the body, mechanical and electrical systems in the Volkswagen automobiles produced at the Chattanooga facility or in Volkswagen dealerships.
