Associate of Applied Technology Engineering
Quality assurance (QA) refers to the planned and systematic activities implemented in a quality system so that quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. Quality control refers to the actual testing of products to uncover defects or to ensure a product meets design specifications. QA/QC technicians may perform quality audits, determine the root cause for a failure, or perform quality control testing according to written procedures.
Upon successful completion of the A.A.S. in Engineering Technology-Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technology concentration, graduates will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to make an intelligent entry into the power, construction, and manufacturing industries.
