Chattanooga State offers two-year degrees in Computer Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Systems Technology, Engineering Technology, and Mechatronics Engineering Technology.

Engineering and Information Technologies use mathematics, science, experience, and judgment to develop ways to benefit humanity.

Engineering Technology and Engineering Systems Technology support engineering through knowledge, methods, and technical skills. It lies between the craftsman and the engineer, closer to the engineer.

We also have many direct transfer programs in Computer Science and Engineering, including our A.A.S. in Applied Science, which is a direct transfer to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Engineering program that maximizes the amount of credit hours transferred from your 2 years at Chattanooga State.

A grade of “C” or better is required in all prerequisite courses and in all courses specified by course numbers in the summary of required hours.

Note:  Any program-directed or technical electives require “C” or better in all course work.
