Provides an introduction to welding technology, both metal and plastic, with an emphasis on basic welding laboratory principles and operating procedures. Topics include: industrial safety and health practices, hand tool and power machine use, measurement, laboratory operating procedures and basic instruction in the use of plastic welding equipment; class 3 hours, lab 3 hours.
