CISP 130 - Introduction to Cloud Computing(3) Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. These services are broadly divided into three categories: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (laaS), Platform-as-a-Services (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This course will discuss all three categories and their current popular implementations. Emphasis will be given to the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) category. This will be done through hands on exercises involving two of the most popular SaaS services-Google’s Google Apps and Microsoft’s Office Web Apps. Students will compare and contrast the collaboration and sharing features of these two lading Cloud Services. [on demand[
