Admission Information
Additional admission procedures are required for this program. Contact the Allied Health Division office for application materials and other pertinent information.
This program is designed to provide a career ladder for individuals who have graduated from or who are currently enrolled in an American Dental Association accredited dental assisting certificate program and seek to obtain an Associate of Applied Science degree. The program is designed to broaden the student’s education through the addition of a broad general education core and additional electives.

Summary of Required Hours
Note(s)
*Completion of all DAST components of ChSCC’s Dental Assisting Technical Certificate program and or current state or national certification or registration as a result of graduation from an American Dental Association accredited certificate program in dental assisting.
**Any combination of seven (7) hours must be taken from courses with the following prefixes: BIOL, CHEM, CS, HE, HS, HUM, MATH, PE, PHED, PHIL, SO. |
