SONO 2004 - Vascular 1
The first of a multi-course sequence that will assess anatomy, physiology, and related hemodynamics of the vascular system from the sonographic imaging perspective. Pathology, clinical signs and symptoms, applicable laboratory values, pathophysiology, and differential diagnosis will be presented. Emphasis will be placed on assessment of vascular hemodynamics through a topic-based analysis of various abdominal vascular structures, as well as an introduction to lower venous examinations and indirect pulse recognition of potential arterial disease of the lower extremities.
