An introduction to the sonographic imaging process, with the focus on gynecologic anatomy and pathology. The student will become familiar with the clinical setting, operation of ultrasound instrumentation, exam indications, and required protocol for sonography exams. Case studies and imaging critiques will be completed, and the student’s performance will be assessed through clinical competencies in each related category through sonographer and instructor evaluations.
