Note(s)

Note(s)

This program is NOT designed to meet educational requirements for pre-veterinary programs to become a Veterinarian. A Veterinary Technician is equivalent to a Registered Nurse for animals. This program includes a broad range of species from small animals to large animals and exotics. VETT courses will only be offered during the semesters in which they are listed above. All curriculum courses require a minimum grade of “C” for continuation in the program. Introduction to Veterinary Technology (VETT 1010 ) is a course that covers all career paths within the veterinary field. Breed identification of many species is included. Pre-veterinary students are invited to take this course to learn such material.
