RESP 1320 - Cardiopulmonary Physiology(3 Credit Hours) Cardiopulmonary Physiology provides an in-depth study of the physiology of the cardiopulmonary system. Topics include the mechanics of breathing, ventilation/perfusion relationships, gas transport mechanisms, and neurologic control of ventilation. Maintenance of acid/base balance and the interpretation of arterial blood gases are also discussed. 3 hr. Lecture/wk.
