WELD 2371 - Gas Metal Arc Welding

(3 Credit Hours)
An intermediate course with an emphasis on vertical and overhead welding. Advancing the knowledge of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes and an introduction in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), selection of electrodes and welding techniques. Designed for the student interested in improving their beginning skills in order to prepare for entry into the work force as a GMAW welder. Contact hrs. 9.
