PTAT 2200 - Introduction to Physical Therapy

(2 Credit Hours)


A course designed to familiarize the students with the history, function, purpose of physical therapy and the role of the physical therapist assistant – PTAs role in ethics, medical-legal issues, medical terminology, administration and communications skills with all clients/patients and other care providers. Total Contact hours: 2.


Prereq(s): BIOL 2010, ENGL 1010, MATH general elective, PSYC 1030
Coreq(s): PTAT 2410, PTAT 2460
Concurrent: Phys 1030/or/PHYS 2010/or/PHYS 2110
