BIOL 1010 - Introduction to Biology I(4 Credit Hours)
Introduction to the principles of biology: basic chemistry, biological macromolecules, cell structure and function, cell division and reproduction, Mendelian and molecular genetics, evolution, photosynthesis, fermentation, and cellular respiration. This course is intended for non-science majors and students with academic or career plans that do not require upper-level biology.
