NE 228 - Fundamentals of Metallurgy

(3 Credit Hours)
This course provides an overview of metallurgy and its application in applicable industries.  Topics covered include metallographic sample preparation, hardness and tensile testing, fundamentals of physical metallurgy, heat treating and modes of corrosion;  class 2 hours, lab 3 hours.
