DH 255 - Dental Hygiene Anxiety and Pain Control

Administration of local anesthetic agents and nitrous oxide to control dental anxiety and pain; content areas in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and emergency management. Course meets Tennessee Board requirements for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration by a dental hygienist. Both didactic and laboratory components required.
