IE 000 - Residential/Commercial Electricity

Theory of Electricity Ohms and Kirchhoff Law. In depth (NEC) National Electric Code, Electrical safety, and test equipment. Electrical symbols, line diagrams, and electrical print reading. Residential/Commercial wiring techniques. Residential/Commercial lighting, applications. Residential/Commercial conductor terminations. Basic hand and machine conduit bending. Residential/Commercial grounding / bonding, circuit breakers, hazardous locations distribution equipment, transformers, voice data and video, basic motor controls, and specialty transformers.


Prereq(s): Must pass compass entry exam
