A course designed primarily for students majoring in non-science degrees and as a prerequisite for MATH 1830. A study of functions and graphs with an emphasis on modeling and regression analysis. Functions included are linear, quadratic, cubic, exponential, and logarithmic. [E] Note(s): Allow for the student to be below college-level English.

Fulfills a General Education requirement. ► “common”  Tennessee’s public Universal Transfer courses.
