Access Policy
05:04:00 Access Policy

 

  1. The campuses and the facilities of the College are restricted to students, faculty, staff, and guests of the College, except when part or all of the campus is open to the general public for an approved event with a designated time and purpose. All persons on the campuses shall be subject to all rules and regulations of the College and the Tennessee Board of Regents, as well as all applicable federal and state laws, which apply to the conduct of persons while on campus.
  2. All persons on the campuses must provide adequate identification upon request by appropriate officials. Persons who refuse to provide such identification shall be instructed to leave the campus. If they refuse to leave they will be subject to lawful  removal and prosecution.
  3. Relatives and other guests not on official business are discouraged from attending classes. Minor children are prohibited from attending regularly scheduled classes. Furthermore, the College does not assume responsibility for unsupervised children per TBR Policy 3:02:02:00.
  4. Access to locked rooms or areas after normal hours or those areas that are not opened by request of the responsible individual or Department is restricted. Access may then be gained only by advanced written permission from the individual or Department given to Security. Access to some areas is restricted to certain employees or groups and is usually noted by a sign posted at the entrance.
