Title IX

12:03:00 Sexual Discrimination and Sexual Harassment

 

  1. It is the intent of Chattanooga State Community College that the institution shall fully comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Sections 799A and 845 of the Public Health Service Act and Regulations issued pursuant thereto (45 C.F.R. Parts 83 and 86), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended. The following policy and procedures are adopted by the College to facilitate such compliance.

  2. Chattanooga State will follow the guidance of  TBR Policy 6.02.00 - Sex Discrimination and Sexual Harassment

 

Policy revised 08/14/2020 - This policy is conditionally approved by the President’s Cabinet as directed by TBR, until such time as the required policy review has taken place.
