Applied Technology Management A.A.S.

 Associate of Applied Science Degree

The Applied Technology Management degree program is specially designed for students who have successfully completed specialized training in a technology field. Through general education and business management courses, students develop the skills needed for supervisory careers within their area of technical training and experience.  Admitted students may be awarded up to 30 semester hours of Technical Elective credit upon completion of all transitional studies requirements and compliance with other TBR and College policies.

 Admissions Criteria 

Applicants must meet all College admission requirements for degree seeking status.

 *Sources of Technical Electives include, but not limited to:

1. A Tennessee College of Applied Technology certificate or diploma requiring at least 1,290 clock hours.

2. U.S. Department of Labor approved apprenticeship programs.

3. Transfer of approved technical courses from any accredited college.

4. Military technical courses as recommended by ACE or other PLA credit.

5. industry recognized certifications as approved by Division Dean.

6. Chattanooga State technical courses that focus on academic areas.

Admitted students may be granted up to 30 hours of Technical Elective credit upon completion of all transitional studies requirements and compliance with other TBR and College policies.
