This course examines the origin and development of legal principles affecting freedom of expression; examines legal guarantees and restrictions on the flow of information using a case study method; examines provision(s) of laws of libel, slander, copyright, privacy, fair use, information gathering, free press, fair trial and other statutes limiting publishing and broadcasting.
