SONO 2005 - General DMS Abdomen Clinic 1(2)
An introduction to the sonographic imaging process, with a focus on abdominal anatomy. The student will become familiar with the clinical setting, operation of ultrasound instrumentation, exam indications, and the required protocol for abdominal sonography exams. Case studies and imaging critiques will be completed, and the student’s performance will be assessed by clinical and attitudinal competencies in each related category through sonographer and instructor evaluations.
