This course will provide students with the skills essential to succeeding in the college setting at the Chattanooga State Dayton Site. Focus will be on understanding the role of a college student and the application of academic success strategies, work ethic, and well-being. The course will build a foundational level of communication, information literacy, and critical thinking skills. Students will explore their interests and abilities, and they will engage in research to formulate a career direction and educational plan. This course will prepare students for college life by offering critical information and providing an ongoing support system, as needed throughout the first semester. (F) Note(s): There are No LEVEL OF PREPAREDNESS REQUIREMENTS IN ANY SUBJECT for this course.
