RADT 2370 - Radiographic Practicum 4

This course is a continuation of Radiographic Practicum III and is designed for students to participate in radiographic examinations under approved supervision in the clinical setting. Experience in a variety of procedures will assist students in applying theory and developing specified levels of competence. Students will demonstrate advanced use of radiographic equipment, along with enhanced development of skills in positioning, patient care, interpersonal communications, image analysis, and radiation safety practices. In addition, continued improvement of critical thinking and problem-solving skills for non-routine situations will be highlighted. Competence at this advanced level will be evaluated and documented for a selected category of exams. Assignments in specialty imaging procedures and modalities are included. Contact hours per week: 24. Prereq(s): RADT 2360 with C or better. Coreq(s): RADT 2350 (F)
