This course explores prospective payment systems, DRG assignments, groupers, APCs, RBRVS, PPS, capitalitation, third party payers, practice management including personnel issues, scheduling and referrals, billing and insurance, patient accounting overview, antifraud measures, chargemaster, EOBs, check and balance procedures, comprehensive claims tracking and reporting, financial statements, management reporting and managed care contracts; class 2 hours, lab 3 hours.
