Tennessee Transfer PathWAYs offered through Chattanooga State Community College
TENNESSEE TRANSFER PATHWAYS
TBR COMMUNITY COLLEGES TO
UT AND TBR FOUR YEAR UNIVERSITIES
Tennessee Transfer Pathways (TTPs) are advising tools designed to help community college students plan for transferring to a Tennessee public university to complete their baccalaureate degree. The TTP’s also constitute an agreement between community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements.
A student who completes all the courses listed on a particular Transfer Pathway will earn an A.A. or A. S. degree at the community college. When the student transfers to a Tennessee public university the transcript will certify that the pathway has been followed. The student is guaranteed that all the community college courses taken will be accepted at the university and the courses will count toward completion of the particular major.
If a community college student transfers to another Tennessee community college, he or she is guaranteed that all courses transfer.
For more information regarding Tennessee Transfer Pathways go to the Tennessee Board of Regents Tennessee Pathways website. http://www.tntransferpathway.org/
For TTP’s offered at Chattanooga State’s go to http://www.tntransferpathway.org/campuses/chattanooga-state-community-college for specific course requirements.

AREAS OF EMPHASIS
These A.A./A.S curriculum guides are designed to facilitate transfer and are internal to the institution. Students are eligible to graduate from Chattanooga State after having completed the recommended curriculum. However, students who intend to transfer should consult their advisor and the institution to which they wish to transfer for specific course selections. These areas of emphasis are not TTP’s. Course recommendations for each major are outlined below.
