BIOL 1010 - Introduction to Biology

Introduction to the principles of biology: basic chemistry, macromolecules, cell structure and function, photosynthesis and cellular respiration, cell division, cellular control, Mendelian and molecular genetics, and evolution. For students whose academic or career plans do not require upper-level biology. [E] Note(s): This course is intended primarily for nonscience majors.
