MMGY 2830 - Mammography Clinic(8)
This course is one of a three-course set in specialized imaging of the breast. The complete set provides fulfillment of federal regulations for formal specialized training in mammography prior to independent mammography performance. This course provides supervised performance of a minimum of 100 mammography exams and film- reporting sessions with radiologists interpreting mammograms; observation and assistance in quality assurance tests and localization procedures; clinic 140 hours in an FDA approved mammography facility in student’s geographic area.
