LA 130 - Legal Research and Writing I(3) A study of the primary and secondary sources of law found in the legal library on campus and, electronically, on the Internet; focus on legal research and writing. Attention given to legal analysis. Emphasis is placed on the importance of citations and ethical considerations in legal writing. Writing consists of case briefs, memorandums, correspondence with clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and/or government agencies, if applicable. Concurrent: ENGL 101; LA 110 [F, S] Note(s): College level English and Reading.
