02:13:01 Curriculum Content and Sequence

 

  1. Each program of study (career/transfer) leading to an associate degree will establish curriculum content and sequence containing the following elements:
    1.  Program Goals - General statements of desired learner outcomes as a product of instruction.
    2. Course Objectives - Statements broad in scope that describe the level of achievement to be demonstrated by students in terms of knowledge gained, skills mastered, and attitudes or values developed (Course objectives are directly related to program goals).
    3. Expectations for Student Performance - A detailed list of specific performance expectations that includes the specific skills, tasks, knowledge, and attitudes or values the student will attain or be able to do upon completion of the course (Expectations for student performance are directly related to course objectives.)
 B. Each department or program of study will establish an assessment plan that includes an annual review of measures of program goal achievement and other indicators of effectiveness in support of  College goals.
